COVID-19 vaccine: Seattle begins administering doses to students at school

As part of the effort to get more people vaccinated, the city on Monday began vaccinating hundreds of students enrolled in Seattle Public Schools. The effort is being carried out through a partnership between SPS and the city of Seattle amid plans over the next two weeks to vaccinate up to 17,000 students who are age 12 and older at 39 middle and high schools. It’s part of a recent push by Seattle City Hall to vaccinate eligible people where they are.
